4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty pretty good, December 11, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Maxtek Rechargeable Replacement Li-ion Battery For Canon LP-E6 LPE6, Fits Canon EOS 5D Mark II, EOS 7D, 60D. Made with Info-Chip, Fully Compatible, Use same as original OEM. Shows time on LCD and charges by Canon Charger! (Camera)
This battery adds some extra power and is fully compatible with the Canon 7d. However, like most aftermarket batteries, when you go into the camera and look at the info, the recharge quality and capacity are not as great as an original Canon l-ion battery for the 7d. If you just want an extra battery to kick around and don't want to spend the full price on the Canon battery, it's worthwhile. If you seriously are going to drain through 2 (or more) batteries (which I never do, it'd probably take thousands of shots in 1 day), you may want to consider getting an OEM battery. Otherwise, this should suit your needs fine, especially if you are using a battery grip or using it as a backup battery.

You use a $1700 camera body and you cheap out to save $25 on a battery?
