for whatever reason, my feet get very cold, and I was glad to find some warm slippers. After gentle use around the house, it took only three days for these slippers to begin literally falling apart at the seams. First the rear label tag came off, as if no thread was even holding it. I really don't see how these could withstand machine wash. Out of fairness, perhaps I just got a bad pair. Also, if you do decide to order these, the sizing chart is all wrong... I wear 8.5 men's US... the size range for the pair I ordered, said up to 9.5...there's no way even a 9 could wear the ones I got, so order a size larger than you think you'll need. I'll be looking for a different brand.

UPDATE: first pair had ripped seams with gentle occasional use even before the first full week. The pair I ordered were Large, supposedly for up to 9.5 men's. So I just ordered a x-large, to give them a second chance, which is supposed to be good for up to 11.5 men's.... I have a 8.5 men's foot, and I cannot even get my foot in these slippers. Comparing the two, the sole length between the large and xlarge is barely a cm larger. Their size chart needs updated. Returning the slippers and not giving them another chance.

UPDATE: If you don't like these slippers, you'll have to pay for the shipping to send them back.

UPDATE: Cost nearly half the price of the product to ship them back for a refund - I guess half is better than nothing. Encouraged them to update their size chart, again. They asserted that size accounted for only .005% of their returns and suggested that maybe width and the unique shape of each foot must be to blame while ignoring the fact that my 8.5 foot didn't fit the length of the XL slippers, supposedly good for a much much larger foot. No effort was made to replace or send a larger size, just a form 'sorry' email.

Disappointing - the return policy on Amazon distributed products has me spoiled I guess - with only a .005% return due to size, it wouldn't hurt Happy Feet to make an effort to be more consistent with Amazon's unprecedented policies regarding satisfaction and returns. Some are more deserving than others to have the privilege of wielding the Amazon Seller banner.

Same thing happened to me!! I had to go through my CC bank to get my refund. I came here to leave a 1 star reviews to warn others away and today I got a call from Pat threatening that "things would get worse" for me if I didn't remove my 1 star reviews! I reported them to Amazon. I can't believe the gall of this company!
