San Francisco Sound is the WORST reissue label,

This review is from: It's a Beautiful Day (Audio CD)
This CD was sourced from an LP record. Almost as an omen, "Bombay Calling," which opened the second side of the LP, starts with a "wow" (speed error). My Columbia LP sounds better! In fact, completely bypass this piece of junk, go to http://www.amazon.co.uk and buy the Columbia 2-fer that also includes the group's second album, MARRYING MAIDEN. In fact, even with foreign shipping, it works out cheaper than buying the two awful domestic issues!

Mark C. says:
His retail prices were a joke $28 for both LP & CD
No doubt he would charge $100.00 for an SACD copy-if he ever put one out

Absolutely agree; I have a copy of this travesty, a term I use to describe Katz's money-grab of reissuing an ATROCIOUS sounding dub (was it a needle drop of a vinyl copy?) and charging the highest price he could get. I thought it would sound at lease "neutral" in terms of not being remastered, but there is all kinds of background garbage.
