This book takes a look at how new personalization technologies may save us from the current state of information overload. On the one hand, it is amazing the sheer amounts of data that now exists for every subject and every individual, but often we are left wading through endless reams of unorganized info.
Jim Hornthal shows how the next generation of companies will take all this data and turn it into very accurate, personalized answers to virtually every question that may arise. The applications range from medical diagnosis and treatment to entertainment.
The book is well organized and clearly written for both technical and non-technical audiences. The good news is that soon we should be able to do away with getting a gazillion search results on Google when looking for a simple answer on the internet.
