not too big,

This review is from: Casio Women's LWS200H-1ACF Solar Runners 120-Lap Black Digital Sport Watch (Watch)
The solar function works great, in fact I find all functions work great. I held onto the instruction booklet anticipating some difficulty when changing the time. It wasn't that bad. The main reason I'm writing this review is to share my opinion regarding it's size. I was really worried that it'd look too big on my wrist. I would say I have freakishly skinny wrists, I can easily wrap my thumb and middle finger around my wrist so my thumb overlaps the nail of my middle finger (I'm 5'6 and about 105 lbs if that helps anyone). I have never been able to find a metal watch that's small enough for my wrists...even those where you can remove the links. This watch has enough holes to hold it snug in place on my wrist. Also, it doesn't look strangely big either. It just looks normal. There's nothing fancy about it, but that's what I wanted. Something that'd kind of blend in.
Lastly how can I not mention that I am super stoked that I won't have to worry about changing a watch battery!? That is, after all, what pushed me towards this watch instead of some of the others with similar functions (stop watch, etc) and similar style. All for a great price...cheaper than I'd expect for a solar powered watch.
Update: It's been almost 4 months since my first draft of this review and I'm still loving the watch. The solar function is holding up fantastically. Hanging on to the instruction booklet was a smart move b/c it did help to refer to it for adjusting the clock for daylight savings time. I use the stopwatch function daily (I'm a speech therapist and have to time many of the therapy tasks I do with my patients) and have no problems.
