Great For Your Back and, AND, It's A Chair : ),
This ball is burst resistant, which is tres important if you are doing pilates and do not want to fall down on your head, etc.. The material seems softer yet more durable than the Go Fit ball, although that one isn't really bad--just not as nice IMHO.
After the first usage, the ball seemed to lose some of its fullness, so I pumped it up again. I've used it every day for two months now and haven't needed to put in anymore air.
Originally, I purchased this ball to do pilates and crunches, and since then I've discovered that I can also use it somewhat like a back barrel to adjust minor spinal misalignments. If you've ever been "cracked" by a chiropractor, you know what I mean.
I bought a second one to use as a chair while working on my computer. Sitting on the ball naturally positions you to sit up straight, and supports your back beautifully when doing butterflies with small hand weights. When working on my computer, I use the ball for stretch/exercise breaks, and I never get pain in my neck/shoulders/back anymore. In fact, my back has never felt better and I never want to be without my exercise/chiropractor/chair ball :)
Ps - I also bought the double action sports ball air pump and I think it's much easier to use than the ultra-low-quality-yet-free air pump that came with the Go Fit ball.
