This review is from: Casio Men's PRG-270 Pro Trek Triple Sensor Multifunction Digital Sport Watch (Watch)
I've had this watch for several weeks now. Documentation states that the sensors are factory preset and should not need adjustment. That was not true for the barometer, altimeter and thermometer. However once they were set properly they seem to work fine. Time was set to Japan time out of the box but once set to my time zone it was correct. The compass matches my iphone perfectly out of the box so I'm assuming it's right on. The altimeter read 330 feet out of the box which was way off. I live in Florida with an elevation of about 15 feet at my home. I have hardly any elevation here so will have to wait until I take a vacation to test it. I had to set the barometer to the most recent reading off of the internet for my city. Since then it has stayed accurate. The thermometer was off by about 5 degrees out of the box but has stayed accurate after being corrected. You do have to take the watch off and make sure that all of your body heat is gone from it before getting an accurate temperature reading. Documentation is not bad just takes a little time to get the hang of doing everything but no big deal. Just make sure to check and calibrate all of the functions when you get it. All in all I like the way it looks and works. No regrets here. Lacking one star because Casio could have done a better job of calibrating the watch at the factory.
