This review is from: Turtle Beach Ear Force NLa Gaming Headset - Black - Nintendo Wii U (Video Game)
Just a heads up here. These plug into the game pad and to be specific, I don't play the game (Black Ops 2) on the pad...I use the wii-mote and nun-chuck to play. That being stated, the stereo headphones are only for voice chat...had expected to use them to hear everything.

Another item, the microphone is very sensitive and picks up anyone else talking in the room. Made for some strange listening as family members conversations were clearly heard...what I heard over the weekend was creepy to some degree.

If there is a patch in the works to change the headphones into listening to the actual game play, then these will be worth the purchase. Had envisioned using these at night and not waking anyone up...that hasn't been confirmed as of yet.

It's possible the issue with not hearing all of the sounds is on a game-by-game basis. I was playing Assassin's Creed III online on the Wii U the other day, and once I plugged in a headset all of the sounds (main system and GamePad) were immediately routed to the headset.
