One glaring flaw,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: PlayStation Vita Cradle (Video Game)
I purchased this to be a docking/power station. It is nice looking and other reviewers have covered the basics, so I will cut right to what I consider to be the huge flaw. When headphones are connected to the cradle, you cannot adjust the sound. It disables the physical buttons that do so, and automatically locks the volume at what I consider to loud for earbuds. I hope they rectify this in a later firmware pouch. As of now, it earned Amazon another sale, as I bought some earbuds with volume control.

it's not a headphones out, it's a line-out, which means it's to be connected to a device that has volume controls on it, hence why you are having the issue.

Line out? That tends to preserve the sound better. Nice. Thanks for sharing that.

Instead of actual headphones, one can buy one of those volume adjusters that you can plug into the dock, then plug your headphones (or other speakers) into. They're fairly cheap and allow you to use your higher quality phones.

Hey, when and if..the volume buttons are disabled when using the headphones.
You can hold down the glowing blue/red ps button for 2-3 seconds and a menu
Will pop up with a variety of options. If u look closely
You will see a volume control slider. This is the way to
Adjust the volume when using a device donut won't be blaring loud in your ear!
