Gives "organics" a run for its money,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Truth About Organic Gardening: Benefits, Drawbacks, and the Bottom Line (Paperback)
Although Gilman might not have intended it, his book goes a long way toward debunking "organics" as a movement while promoting good methods that the "organics" people have adopted.
It's very even-handed, no fear-mongering, and very easy to read.
If you're buying it to have your ideology verified, you will be disappointed--and not a little ticked off.
If you want to weigh the pros and cons of very specific gardening methods, then this book is for you.
