The good n bad of the Rocket,
This review is from: BELLA 13330 12-Piece Rocket Blender, Stainless Steel (Kitchen)
I purchased the Rocket just a few days ago in hopes of creating great smoothies n protien shakes. The design n look of the rocket are pretty sleek i must say. It blends a shake in just minutes, pretty awesome. The only issue i had is one of the main points of these single serve blenders is to simply remove the cup throw on a lid and take it on the go (as i do for work in the morning), this way i can enjoy my shake as my mid day snack. However, i noticed there is minor leakage when carrying the cup when you are on the go. I had thankfully put mine in a zip lock bag just in case, which was a good call on my part. I have heard better reviews on the magic bullet, especially to just throw a lid on the cup n take it on the go without any spills. I plan to return the rocket, which is unfortunate, but oh well. Can't beat the price though if you are just looking to make shakes and drink it right away at home, or other uses that do not require to use the lid for on the go.

I don't think these "cups" were design for travel like the leak proof thermos cups. I would not have used as you have. My intention was to use it around the house, back yard, and in the car. And based on your experience, this product would for my purposes be fine. Thank you for the insight.

All the Bella Cucino a.k.a. Sensio a.k.a. Homelife (sold at Walmart) products are the same and they suck!! Walmart sold them a couple of years ago (remember the big round red pizza maker dud??) which all died in 3 months!!! The green lights come on but nothing heats up, and then the sneak warranty in the box says it costs 12 dollars to mail it in and then BACK to you if it's THEIR FAULT (it never is!!), and then if you want your dead appliance BACK, it's ANOTHER 12 DOLLARS!!! That's the same 24 dollars the pizza maker cost!!! DON'T BUY ANY OF THESE SENSIO PRODUCTS! They're probably changing the name, 3 times, because people already know what a crappy reputation their prior junk had!

I think I would use an insulated cup with a lid to pour my drink in if I was taking it to work it fixes the leak problem and keeps your drink cold as well. Simple fix really...........

you know what you can do to prevent leakage?
Before you twist the top on, put a plastic wrap (vinyl) between the cup and the lid.
The vinyl will seal the gap and it will hep with the leakage problem.
