This review is from: Food Path: Cuisine Along the Grand Trunk Road from Kabul to Kolkata (Hardcover)
I you like Indian food, you need thus book in your collection. It's much more than a cookbook. It is a piece of ethnographic research that revolves around food as it is encountered along the GT road. The recipes are genuine and the illustrations are splendid. Clearly the author, Pushpesh Pant, knows his subject, not only food, but also the civilization that produced it. His other seminal tome, India Cookbook, is another must for Indian food lovers. Buy either one, or both, you won't be disappointed.
