After struggling through so many reviews for eco mats, I am so glad I decided on this one. At 5'9", I think I was really a little cramped before on a standard size mat. It's so nice to have the extra space. Also the mat is just cushy enough to be comfortable for floor work, but absolutely perfect for balance poses as well. On my very first try, I did find it a bit slippery, but as soon as I wiped it down one time with an organic yoga mat cleaner, it was perfect. One downside, albeit a small one, is that it doesn't fit in a standard mat bag. I am still looking for an extra long sling to carry it in. Until then, I am happy to just roll it up and carry it in my arms to class. Definitely worth the money.
