Big Improvement over a Wheel Barrow,
This review is from: Farm Tuff 24"X48" Metal Deck Wagon with Metal Fold Down Sides Green (Lawn & Patio)
Cognizant of the mixed reviews, I still bought this after looking at the alternatives. I like it. My wheel barrow died and my son recently bought a new one we used to move a lot of gravel and construction debris from a wrecking project. That's when I decided I needed a wagon instead of a wheel barrow. With a wheel barrow you still have to lift and control; it's easier to pull and control with four wheels. I looked at several alternatives, including a "dump" wagon at a local big box store and thought this had the highest probability of durability. I would be comfortable loading this thing with 1400 pounds of sand or gravel, uniformly distributed, but this isn't a tank. It's a good compromise between cost, strength and price. The sides either drop, or are easily and quickly removed. I"ve used this to move fire wood, gravel and topsoil and feel like it's already paid for itself
I gave this four stars instead of five because the assembly instructions are nearly useless, you'll need to go mostly by the line drawings. Second, there are three pivot points and no recommendation for grease. You should either grease them or put some Teflon washers in (you'll need 5 washers, 5/16 ID, Amazon.com) but grease is fine. Finally, I had some weld spatter on one of the studs that was troublesome to remove so a nut would go on. Shouldn't have to mess with something like that. On the other hand, none of the parts were missing or otherwise damaged. I hate it when something's missing.
