2.0 out of 5 stars Cardboard tiles, December 22, 2009
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Disney Rummikub (Toy)
My son (2 years old) loves "playing" with Mommy and Daddy's Rummikub game, so I was excited to get this one for him. We love Pooh, and I thought the shape matching was an ingenious method of giving him a chance to learn the game earlier than he can get into reading the numbers. But when I opened the case, I was immediately disappointed. Unlike the sturdy plastic tiles in our set, the tiles on this set are cardboard that have to be popped out of these cardboard "pages" They are difficult to get out such that they look all the same from the back. They don't have the same feel in the hand when holding them, nor do they make the satisfying click when they go down on the table.

I fear what happens when a drink gets spilled on them, as well.

If I had it to do otherwise, I would not purchase these, and certainly not at the current price ($30) We paid $11

We felt simiarly to above post - we paid 13.00 (on clearance) and still feel that the pricepoint was too high for cardboard tiles.
