More on the font,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Lightroom 4: Streamlining Your Digital Photography Process (Adobe Photoshop) (Paperback)I am very much enjoying this book, as I did Nat Coalson's prior book on Lightroom 3. That being said, I am also one of those who found the font used in this book somewhat difficult to read.
I contacted Wiley Publishing about this, and received an e-mail from a contact there, who was very happy to rectify the situation, much to my approval. The e-mail is Lightroom4@wiley.com .
So, I would highly recommend this book for those just getting into Lightroom 4, or those upgrading from a prior version.

And, so, how did they rectify the situation?

I got my copy a couple of days ago from Amazon and my answer is no. The font IS light and there are
pages that have smeared ink. I think I received a bad copy and that there still is a chance that you too could receive a bad one.
