4.0 out of 5 stars Previous Movie RePackaged!!!!!, June 2, 2009
First of All, I love Wayne Dyer and I own everyone of his books, CD's, wisdom cards and now DVD's etc. He is an amazing teacher. I cannot for the life of me understand why his previous movie, "Ambition to Meaning" was sold under the new title, "The Shift". Hay House (where I made my purchase) should have made it clear that it was the same movie re-packaged. Nowhere was that mentioned in the write-up. Now I have two of the same and I really felt duped. I'm very careful these days where I place my money and it should not have happened. Yes, it's forgiveable!

Thanks for you review, but why don't you return this?

The movie was retitled a month after its release because Wayne Dyer and the producers felt the title was confusing. At least the mistake gave you an opportunity to show generosity and give the second copy to someone who you felt could use a little inspiration in their lives.

I contacted Hay House three times by email to see if they would take it back but they did not even bother to respond. I have passed the movie on to a friend. It's just irritating because they did have a record of me buying "Ambition to Meaning" and nowhere did they mention in "The Shift" advertisement that they changed the title and then to not answer my emails . . . what a sad blemish on their company and they have lost a customer.

Did you not get the message? The message was that this is one movie package sold with different titles. I was simply letting people know "that fact" because it cannot be returned if they won't even respond to the request for an exchange.

Thank you for sharing that info Dawn. I used to be a faithful member of Hay House Community - but recently a few of their writers/personalities have left - and I can now listen to their podcasts *for free* on Contact Talk Radio. As to THE SHIFT - Wayne Dyer is amazing, as is this dvd, regardless of it's title.

Thank You, Irish Angel! I did not know about the podcasts or Contact Talk Radio. I will look into that. I too think Wayne Dyer is amazing! As far as Hay House is concerned, I now take my business to Amazon.com

When i bought the first version of You can heal your life,by Louise Hay(original version)there was an advert inside for the new extended version.I thought that was in very bad taste and it said to me that they wanted customers to buy both versions(more money for them)I think that if a new version existed then they should have discontinued the original.I just heard Wayne Dyer say on his show that money always shows up for him.Well duh, when you have scammers like that selling your products then you will have money.Louise Hay also boasts on one of her CD'S about how much integrity they all have at Hayhouse and she even scolds people(listeners) who steal paper clips. One of the most irritating things I have heard a Hayhouse host say was Susan Bernstein when she praised Colonel Sanders!!(cruely and greed personified!!)

Thank You, W. Allen for your comment. Interesting that Hay House is now including an advert inside for the new extended version. They must have decided to do that as a token repair after people complained of their misrepresentation or scam. That advert surely was not included in mine. I had not heard the one of the paper clips, another example of Hay not walking her talk.
