I ordered these glasses along with another pair (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001MTSJYW/ref=oss_product) at the same time. Both came on the same day (I think it was about 4 days) and they were both in great condition. However, these ones were 10x better! They both have the same look and I couldn't really tell a difference between them so I stuck with these ones. They have spring loaded hinges (which I understand is rare in this style of glasses) and are exactly what they say they are. I went over to my local wal-mart eye center and they were able to cut me a pair of lenses easily! I was pretty excited cause these frames are very durable, cheap and awesome. The lenses were cut for me within 3 days and they work perfectly. These can indeed hold prescription lenses (assuming the prescription you have isn't too thick.) I recommend these glasses to anyone looking for a pair in this style.
For anyone curious, Wal-Mart cut my lenses for only 30$ and a 10$ cutting fee (15$ per lens) for plastic lenses, so 40$ total. I wanted to make sure the glasses could handle prescription lenses before I invested too much in glass or higher quality lenses but these ones work great. :)

In order to get lenses cut at Wal-Mart, did you just walk in or is that where you normally go to get your eye care?

I don't see how they would be able to fit the glasses with lens... they have no brake in the plastic for lens removal. Maybe I have a different item.
