I confess that this is my second set of Fiesta mixing bowls (the others are cobalt, and there's a review lurking somewhere on Amazon from when I got those).
I am delighted with the deep teal color of these, and the care with the glazing that's been lost with the newest Fiesta pieces (causing the newest ones to lose a great deal of the character that draws me to Fiesta).
These bowls are likely smaller than you're expecting... the "large" bowl is way smaller than I think of a large mixing bowl as being. It's about 9.25" in diameter and about 3.5" high. But note the curve of the lip; most of the bowl is about 6.5-7" wide. Although this is officially a 70oz. bowl, that would be full to the brim, which of course one would not do with liquids. I just filled a 2-quart pitcher (64oz) and poured into the bowl, and stopped pouring before the pitcher was empty for fear of making a mess. I'm going to guess that 60oz is about as full as anyone would want this, say if you were making pudding or something liquidy. But with pasta or something, you could heap it higher, of course.
I love the Revere bowl shape of these, and most often use them for serving, not mixing, FWIW. The large size is often for microwave popcorn in this house, and the small one is often for vegetables.
