NOT true to size!,
This review is from: KEEN Women's Whisper Sandal (Shoes)
I've had the original Keen sandels and clogs for years and absolutely love them, although the sandels are a bit clunky. The soles are finally wearing out and I decided to treat myself to a new pair.
I went online and really liked two new models, they looked much "lighter" than the originals. I went to buy them and when I tried on the Whispers they were way too tight! I could not get the 7.5 on and I do have a true 7.5 foot. I went up to an 8 and that size would not allow me to put my foot all the way in either. My toes were nowhere near the front of the shoe yet my heel was out the back.
The salesman told me that model has a completely different fit than the others (the Venice and Newports still fit me fine in my correct size).
REALLY disappointed, I liked them a lot. Why do companies do that? A size should be the same across a brand with a similar product!

I had the exact same problem. 7.5 no good, so I sent them back. Then went to store and tried on an 8 and 8.5. Ordered the 8.5 and now am going to send it back too since my toes still won't go to the tip and my heel hangs over a bit. Disappointed.

Even though your review is quite old now, I have found exactly the same thing about sizing. "Soul of Shoes" is selling these exact same slip-ons. I wear an 8-1/2, but ordered three pairs in Size 9. I cannot even get them OVER my heel. I measured them (sole to sole) against my other regular shoes and they are at least an inch or more shorter. These vendors need to get over to the overseas mfg facilities and do better QC before they market them.

M. Green says:
Keen specifically made these for those with a narrower foot as the Venice and Newports are for wider feet. There are plenty of narrow footed women people who are praising these and Keen for finally finding one that fits better. For my Narrow foot they are true to size and the same as my other keens. I will add the Clearwater CN X are much smaller. When I tried those on I had to try a 10-10.5 to get the same fit as my normal Keen 9.5 and the 9.5 in the Whisper. But the Whispers are much more comfortable anyway.

M. Green, are you a rep? The Keen site actually states "We feel this style runs pretty true to size" with no mention of width. If they did indeed make this style for narrow feet, they should be marketed as such. (IMHO of course!). I still wish they fit, I love the look of them. I ended up with a couple pairs of Tevas instead.
