5.0 out of 5 stars Big toe box, January 23, 2013
This review is from: ASICS Women's GT-2000 Running Shoe (Shoes)
Asics are known for having a narrower heal and a large toe box. If you like the support of a running shoe but want room for your toes to spread out - try Asics. I recently switched to the GT-2000 after being in the Asics Cumulus and Asics Nimbus (both neutral shoes) for years while doing a lot of running. After a few unrelated injuries, I'm trying these shoes to help with a very mild pronation in one foot. As usual, the Asics are comfy right out of the box and don't need to be broken in. This could be because they are the right fit for my feet, or maybe they are just that awesome for everyone; I don't know. I'm giving them 5 stars after only wearing them for a few days, but if I encounter any problems, I'll come back and update my review.

Hi! I am hearing the Asics gel lite show cumulus and nimbus run small in the toe box, have you noticed any difference in sizing between the two? Thank you

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the Asics Gel Lites. I was using the regular Asics Gel Cumulus and Asics Gel Nimbus.

Oh not the gel lytes, i meant the Asics gel cumulus 15 "lite show" for it's neon color. And the Asics Gel nimbus 15 lite show for the neon glow in the dark feature. They are the same shoes with an extra feature. I've always worn the 2000s, 2160s, but I want to try the Nimbus or the Cumulus for the lite show feature. I was wondering if you noticed any differences in sizing between the Nimbus/cumulus versus the 2000s. Thank you I would love to hear your input!

Oh I understand now. It's hard to say, but I think they are the same size or possibly 1/2 size smaller. I'm wearing 1/2 size smaller now in the 2000s, but I am not running (just walking), whereas I was running in the Nimbus and Cumulus. But I had been wearing 1/2 size smaller in the Nimbus before I switched to the 2000s. So, I'd assume they are the same size, but if you're between sizes, size down just in case.
