Seems like it doesn't fit, but it does.,
This review is from: OXO Good Grips Soap Dispensing Palm Brush Refills (Kitchen)I ordered these from the Good Grips website along with some other things (cheaper than at Amazon, which is rare). The replacement brushes only fit the more recent version of the brush. I have an older one which doesn't twist off. So I got a brand new brush with replacement parts at the same time. I had the same reaction to other folks here that the replacements didn't fit. But then I looked very closely and found that there is a small plastic nib in the slot into which the thread of the main part should slide. It was on both of the replacements, so I doubted it was a manufacturing error. I found that if I twisted really, REALLY hard (quite a few attempts), the plastic nib was flattened and the replacement parts then fitted well. They really should have instructions about that on the box, since I bet they get a LOT of returns over this. I suspect the nib causes a tighter fit once the replacement part is screwed in, so that it doesn't come unscrewed easily. Hand this task over to someone with young, strong hands!
Five stars for providing a replacement. But they lose one for not giving clear instructions (and for making my thumbs sore).

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review with instructions on how to "install" the replacement brush. I was so frustrated that it would not stay on, and after reading your review I was able to fix the problem in a flash! I have always loved this palm brush and being able to order replacement refills makes it just that much better! Peace.

Thank you SO much for your review. I just tried to replace the brush and it would not twist on. I came on Amazon to see if anyone else had this problem. I am glad your was the first on the page. I did what you said and it went on perfectly. Thanks again! You saved me money (from having to buy another set) and a lot of frustration!

.... and still, your articulate Customer Review, from 11/07/2011, continues to help the purchaser's who thought it was the wrong refill item. I was surprised to see the numbers of folks who had your initial difficulty. Yep, me too!! I was getting ready to toss 'em when I saw your review. Thank you so much for the input; we could use more people like you! Sharing our collective "lessons-learned" makes shopping on this site much more efficient, and infinitely less stressful! The two comments to your review know just what I'm talking about. Thanks again..., gotta run as I have a date to man-handle a pair of scrubber replacement brushes. Ta for now!!!

I just want to chime in along with the others here who have said THANK YOU!
I just finally got around to using the first of these which I had ordered a while back and the lousy fit was bugging me. I came online to see if anyone had the same issues and to, potentially, return the product....after reading your review, I went back and twisted, Hard. Sure enough, fits good and nice and secure. So thank you so very much for giving us all some good advice. ^.^
Now I'm going to order more replacements for the future.
