Nice but pricey,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Marware Eco-Vue Genuine Leather Case Cover for Kindle, Black (fits Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle, and Kindle Touch) (Accessory)
It is a nice "home" for your Kindle, and the device definitely needs one to be protected from scratches etc. The cover (I just received it today) also seems to be well made and it fits my basic Kindle glove-like. However, this cover is NOT worth 35 dollars.
I'll probably keep it nevertheless, since there seem to be no other - or at least no really cheaper - options. Unless you wanna put your Kindle just in a sleeve-thing to carry it around in. But even those sleeves made for the Kindle are not much cheaper than this cover. And it is crucial that your device fits nicely in its cover or sleeve. If you can find something else that you can transport your Kindle in, I'd go for that - and please let me know if you do. :-)
P.S.: I prefer the cover over the sleeve, because you can use your Kindle in it and flip it open like a book cover. Definitely a plus for travelling or even just killing a few minutes with reading while waiting at the doctor's office or wherever.

That's for the Kindle 3, so not likely to be useful for anyone looking at this case...

The J Family says:
At face value, you're right not helpful, but could check that maker and style to see if they put out an updated Kindle 4 one then you'd know it's a good idea to check it out.

I agree with your review completely. If you are simply looking for a safe transport vehicle for your Kindle and don't mind looking a bit low-rent, you can buy a manila bubble mailer. They cost less than $3, have a soft interior and provide excellent padding. I use one for my iPad. Obviously this doesn't address handling the device, but I get a lot of compliments on my thrifty ingenuity (not that it was an original idea). I prefer to spend my money on the gadgets and not the accessories. 8-D
