Might be a bad batch,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
First let me say that I've been using Sanyo Eneloops for awhile now and really love this product. I mainly use them for my digital cameras and get a lot of shots between recharges. For my Pentax K-x I was getting close to 500+ shots without a flash before I had to recharge the batteries. With this batch I'm getting maybe 230 shots. I've used the same charger not one of those fast 2 hour high amp charger but my 210 mA 7 hr charger. I take my time and carefully charge my batteries watching the temperature from time to time. Maybe it will take a couple more cycles for them to fully form up so I'll give them a chance before I toss them and try another batch.

I had the same impression on a batch. I was curious to why all of a sudden I wasn't getting the performance. I did a check on my charger and found that it was the culprit. I took it apart and found the infamous 'bad capacitor bulging' problem! I did repair it but decided to get an sanyo charger and low and behold the batteries were right back where they should be.
