3.0 out of 5 stars misleading, April 30, 2013

This review is from: ASUS VS207D-P 19.5" HD+ 1600x900 VGA Back-lit LED Monitor (Personal Computers)
I am disapointed so far. this listing was very misleading. it showed that it had multiple inputs and it only has 1 VCA. resolution is nice but i could have spent slightly more and received much more for my money.

No HD. No HDMI. VGA is limited to 640x480 resolution, no matter what. Its like trying to get surround sound out of one speaker. Not a good purchase.

With the proper drivers on your graphics card, you should get the advertised resolution.

VGA here is NOT "the alias of screen resolution 640x480", but rather the name of the actual connector/cable, also called D-sub connector by it's shape.

from Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VGA_connector

The same VGA cable can be used with a variety of supported VGA resolutions, ranging from 640×400px @70 Hz (24 MHz of signal bandwidth) to 1280×1024px (SXGA) @85 Hz (160 MHz) and up to 2048×1536px (QXGA) @85 Hz (388 MHz).
