Great little slippers!,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Staheekum Women's Silverton Slipper (Apparel)
I was almost paralyzed when trying to decide which slippers to choose from Amazon because of the frightening reviews. I finally narrowed it down to the Staheekums and the Tamarac by Slippers International. The selling point for the Staheekums was that they are made in Washington state vs. China. Go USA! The slippers arrived sooner than expected and the fit was perfect. I wear a standard 9B and am usually able to successfully buy shoes online. I ordered my usual size and they fit the way a slipper should. They are amazingly warm and comfortable! Buy them! If you're smart you'll buy two pair and put one up for later.

I didn't see where it says they are made in USA in the description... but I just received these and they are made in China. Where did you see they are made in Washington?

C. Hallowell says:
It clearly states in the product description -- Origin - IMPORTED:
Shaft measures approximately 3.5" from arch
Shaft Height: 3 1/2" (Size 7.5)
Circumference: 8 3/4" (Size 7)
Fit: True to Size
The identical slippers are sold under different brand names -- I have both "Bear Paw" and "Tamarac" brands of this exact same slipper -- ALL of which are made in "China" and/or the "P.R.C.".
If you can find any USA-Made Leather, Shearling-Lined Slippers, Scuffs, or Boots, they're going to be WAAYYYY expensive -- and out of my moderate price range ;>)
