If I were to compile a list of treats, a new toothbrush would be near the top. In fact, I do replace my brush about every three months -- either an Oral-B from my dental appointment (usually an "Advantage" model) or a Reach that I buy in between cleanings (e.g. the "Total Care Floss Clean" or, for fun, the "Design") -- all of which I'd rate 5 stars.
Like most of the models above, this Oral-B "Clinical Pro-Flex" has a thick, easy-to-hold handle; especially easy, in fact, since the rubbery surface of this model enables a grip even when wet. I haven't noticed its title feature ("flexing sides"); perhaps that's a testament to particularly good design? I have noticed that its various lengths/types of bristles reach everywhere, including behind my furthest-back molars.
One feature to particularly note: whereas my other toothbrushes are composed of a relatively solid surface of bristles, the surface of this one is a mix of bristles and open space -- which I think functions to trap and then slowly release the toothpaste. So instead of my habit of first dispersing the toothpaste around my mouth to all teeth and then going back to brush each tooth, here the toothpaste is immediately pushed down into the open space between the rows of bristles and is then released as I make my way around my mouth. That seems an advantage, although the open space also gave me a sense of a less-dense, slightly less effective brush.
It's a toothbrush to try, especially for people who would benefit from a more grip-able handle and a gradual release of toothpaste.
