Different, but enjoyable,
This review is from: All The Difference: Romantic Suspense (Kindle Edition)
I wish I could give 3.5 stars as this is really better than a 3 star, but not a 4 star either. Yes, I am picky. Also to be completely honest, part of the reason for the lower rating may be that this is not my usual genre.
All the Difference is not what I think of as a romance or a suspense novel, nor is it completely a mystery. There is a mystery...why do men keep dying? But it doesn't come along until later in the book. I didn't see much romance, but there was quite a bit of sex (but not too much or too graphic) and there was no suspense until the very last chapter. The author did do a good job of telling the story through different viewpoints, something that is not easy to do. There were also flashbacks to the childhood of one the characters and it took a while to figure out which one. The were a few red herrings, that didn't play out as well. While the characters were pretty static and stereotypical they were believable.
All in all, I would recommend All the Difference if you like chick lit with a little mystery thrown in. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my review.
