Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Kinshield Legacy (The Kinshield Saga) (Kindle Edition)This gets one star because the author can actually spell and form sentences, but this was not worth the 0.99c that I paid for it. The story is flat and predictable, I could not get past the first 3 chapters. I was surprised that there are so many positive reviews of this book, did they read the same copy as me? This is the first self published amazon book I've purchased and I don't think I'll be buying anymore.

Congratulations on your first review, Sukhi!
You've graduated from passive reader to participant in the community of letters. It's really surprising how often a person's first review is a negative one.
Here's to your continued participation and the hope that you'll find something more to your liking for your next review.
And congrats to KC for now having a full set of reviews! You've made it to the big time.

Sukhi, PLEASE don't give up on self-published books because you've read ONE and didn't like it. That's like buying a bunch of grapes, having the first grape be a little sour, and saying, eeewww, this bunch of grapes is ruined. It doesn't work that way. Self-publishing is a magnificent way to find many wonderful books. And I get a lot of mine from Kindle Buffet, so I get a lot of my books free, and I get a lot for 99 cents, or $2.99. I have found several books since I have owned a Kindle product that, by themselves, were worth every penny I paid for every book in my rather massive collection.
If you never buy another self-published book because of this one, you'll be tossing the baby out with the bathwater.
