Best value for money,
This review is from: Coby CXCD251BLU Portable CD Player with AM/FM Radio, Blue (Discontinued by manufacturer) (Electronics)
This very unpretentious CD Player with AM/FM radio is truly a real jewel for the price paid. I wanted to purchase it from Amazon, but the seller after several emails exchange, could not tell me if it came with a plug in electrical cord or not. I finally, asked one of the customers here on this forum and she told me it did. So I went ahead and ordered the blue one from Walmart. Yes, it does come with a plug in electrical cord in case you were wondering like I did, since none is mentioned in the product specs. Do not expect a great stereo sound and you will not be disappointed. This little jewel also comes with an earphone jack and I enjoy it very much when I want to listen to it without bothering anyone. Now the radio part. It comes with a very thin wrapped up cord antenna. Mine is still wrapped up and did not touch it. Miracles of miracles, and I live in a small town in the Midwest, I can now get stations that I could not reach with more expensive radios. The stations come in at all times of the day or night very clear and crisp. There is no humming noise coming out of the speakers, like unfortunately someone else has experienced. Maybe he has some kind of power surge from his wall electrical outlet. I am just guessing....

Do you know if this product has an audio input area, where you can plug a cord to connect to an mp3? Also, can it play mp3 CDs?

Sorry Tracy, this beautiful basic CD Player, does not connect to any mp3 devices or play mp3. It is just a very sturdy basic CD Player with a jack for headphones and an electric cord to plug it in the wall outlet so that you do not have to use batteries. Also, the am/fm radio is very powerful and comes through very crisp and clear, and I live in the middle of no where.....The price is very low, there is one reason why it does not relate to any mp3 devices. Other than that, it is a very nice portable CD Player.

Hi Mars. Is there a repeat function (so the CD plays multiple times without having to push play again)?

Hello Susan, You will be happy to know that this cd player has indeed a repeat button to listen to the same song over and over again, if so wished. I hope that I have answered your question in full.

Hey mars, and hello. BTW, I know you state that it dont have a way to hook up and use a Mp3 player, and alone by it self does not have an option (Because of that reason) can not play mp3s.
BUT..., It does state it can play: Top loading CD player; "CD, CD-R, CD-RW compatible" disks... Are you aware that mp3.s can be transferred too CD-R, and CD-RW type disks? And IF you are aware of that?
Have you tried to make some, or someone you know who could test this for you? Because "Many" standard CD-Players are able to play mp3.s (More-So specially today's players, not all, but many that can. Least players that can play CD-R, CD-RW disks, have a higher likelihood it will do so. So IF you can find out, or anyone, would be nice to know. THX :-)

Hey mars..nice review. As a matter of fact I was going to buy this model but checked out Walmart's site they have this same one: Coby CX-CD251 Portable CD Player BoomBox with Wireless Headphones (bundle) for $24.99. Looked up the exact same model here on Amazon w/the wireless headphones & this popped up. However, it's not in the description or picture. I don't think this model "does" come with the wireless headphones but it popped up? Can you please tell me if it does or doesn't? Thanks much!!
