Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Sony KDL60EX645 60-Inch 1080p 120HZ Internet Slim LED HDTV (Black) (Old Version) (Electronics)
I got this tv in time for the SEC championship....it makes no sense how great everything looked! One thing, I know the item description says 120HZ, but the box said 240HZ, true motion. (???) Bottom line, it's got a beautiful picture and I'm so happy I got it!

True motion is not the actual HZ refresh rate. This tv is 120HZ refresh rate but Sony, as well as many other major tv manufacturers, are using a deceptive marketing term (motionflow, truemotion) to describe their process of filling in gaps between the 120HZ refresh to your screen. People see the 240HZ on the box and think they are getting a 240HZ refresh rate when it is really a 120HZ refresh rate. Google it to find out more, but don't fall for the deceptive marketing since these tv manufacturers are making it harder for you to see the facts on the box.

Seems like this sharp tv is really worth the price but I have my doubts about it being sturdy enough if I place it high up. I can't really afford to see this one break. Did you fix the TV to the wall? I would probably go for FlexiMounts to mount it. Check it out if you had a similar conern.

My boyfriend got the same sharp tv and went mad over it. He's a FIFA and COD addict and has three TVs setup along with full-rotating mounts from this brand called FlexiMounts. It's pretty cool the way he can move them around. And not too overpriced either, so a pretty decent buy.
