This review is from: The History of the Kings of Britain [Illustrated] (Kindle Edition)
This book has two major flaws, one dealing with the content and one with the format. The major flaw in the content is that the history is totally fictitious. If you want to learn the history of the kings of Britain, choose another book. Unless, that is, you believe that King Arthur ruled from Paris (as one example).
If you're curious as to what Geoffrey of Monmouth wrote (as I was), even knowing the history is fictitious, I still couldn't recommend this book because of the second flaw: there are 2-3 typos on almost every page. The book is almost unreadable -- "amde" for "made", "is" for "his", some typos so bad that I couldn't even figure out what the error was. I didn't try any of the other selections of this title, but you might want to in order to see if they are better.

"Overdue North" says:
This is a classic work which has survived for almost a thousand years. Everyone knows (except you, it seems) that it is not a work of actual history, so your dismissal of it simply shows your own apparent ignorance.
However, I thank you for pointing out the appalling typesetting.
