This review is from: Another Word for Sky: Poems (Perfect Paperback)
One can't help but conjure Allen Ginsberg when reading Jay Michaelson's wild and passionate naked confessions about God, sex, mystical union and the wonders of the spontaneous mind when revealed without caution. Both heart-wrenching and all-too-human, the poems leave the reader inspired and grateful that, like the best of the Beats, Michaelson has simply dared to be himself: queer, yearning, enlightened, insecure, ecstatic and miserable. Candor ends paranoia.
