Do Not Buy This Bag,
This bag is really awful.
I've bought like four Swiss Army bags, beginning in 2002. The first one was amazing. I lived in Indonesia at the time and traveled to remote provinces every other week. It held up like a champ. I don't recall the model, but it was similar to the Trek Pack Plus, except without the attaching backpack.
Finally in 2005 after thousands of miles and dozens of brutal trips, it gave up the ghost, and Victorinox gave me another, which was not as well designed in terms of functionality, but it held up. I still have it.
I bought the Trek Pack above without the attached bag for my wife, and it was even less well designed in terms of function, but I bought it b/c I was a huge fan of Swiss Army luggage. After a short time, the zipper on the front compartment gave out during a flight, spewing my clothes out. I took it to a repair shop, got it back, and just this evening packed it for the first trip out of the repair shop, and when I closed the front compartment - the first time I pulled on the zipper - the zipper pulled off in my hand. I am switching to Eagle Creek.
