Wow!! Am I the only visual learner around? I would have bet anything that there would be a hundred comments on this video review. Maybe there are others on Amazon and its just that this is the first I've seen. Anyways...I'm a senior citizen grannie without any young folks around to show me one of these GPS thingies. Being able to see it in action, and even more importantly to HEAR it in action, is wonderful. And with using my screen magnifier I am pretty sure I could see the one basic thing that I haven't read anything about in product description or reviews, namely, an easy-to-see indication of the direction the car is facing - a simple compass. I lose my bearings easily, but if I know the direction I'm heading, I can usually work my way back into familiar territory. My very, very old car doesn't have one of those snazzy rear view mirrors that show direction. I hope your daughter likes it, and that she appreciates such a nice Dad!

I think this a great way to add a review and gave me much more information than the highest rated comments.
