Strap it on! Strap it on!,
This review is from: Zephyr HxM Bluetooth Wireless Heart Rate Sensor for Android and Windows Phone 8I've been using the HxM for a few weeks paired with my Motorola Droid (using 2 different apps) and I'm very happy with the product. Unlike my previous Polar strap, the HxM strap is all-fabric with no plastic contacts that get all sticky on my skin. Because let's face it, when you're working out, if you aren't sweating you're missing the point. The HxM is very light, thin, and soft. I could easily wear this all day. There's plenty of battery life to last a week between recharges. If you want to get a leg up on working out and really get some peak performance out of your body, do yourself a favor and get the HxM now.

What are the two apps you were using?
Any recommendation on which works best?

I just ordered mine. But I've already looked up what apps I will try. First is My Tracks by Google. It will pair with the device and keep track of your speed, altitude changes and route all on a map. It is free. Just note that it is still a beta (work in progress) app. You can search market.android.com for more apps.
