Warning about seller.,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Gravity Threads Unisex Warm Half Finger Stretchy Knit Gloves
The gloves are very poor quality, they are not even (one hand fingers are significant shorter), and treads sticking out in every finger). The picture shows nice, thick looking pair, these are very thin, it's a joke.
Do not buy from from Private Island. They provide tracking number that doesn't work, don't answer emails or phone, and they send item on the last day of expected delivery date. Wasted my time, I could get them from honest seller. The worst experience on Amazon.com ever.
UPDATE: Contacted by seller on Nov 9th asking to remove negative feedback so they will refund the money ($3.49)-unacceptable, you had your chance (and other buyers should know about sellers like that). Plus I bought nice pair of fingerless gloves at Petsmart for $1! Thicker and good quality, something I wanted in first place.

If you are going to knock stars off the product rating for the behavior of the seller, at least identify who they are. There are more than one seller for this item. I appreciate the warning though and it sounds like the product gets one star from you anyway.

Did they at least offer a full refund with shipping?

I mentioned their name in review-Private Island.
I usually do not take stars for sellers customer service, the quality of their gloves were ridiculous- so thin you can see through, fingers length is significantly uneven with bunch of threads.
It's all in the review.

They contacted me only after I left negative feedback (earlier did not respond to 2 emails, and week after I received the gloves just one sentence that it was delivered-duh).
They offered full refund with shipping ($3.49) and refund for other gloves if I purchased them because their product didn't come in time-BUT ONLY if I remove negative feedback.
I still got $2 back because they didn't delivered on time from Amazon, but the whole behavior of this seller was shady, so I will not remove this feedback.

I agree. If a seller only responds after the buyer posts a negative review of the seller (and the merchandise) that is pretty bad. But offering to do the right thing (which any good seller should have done in the first place) only if the buyer removes the negative feedback is blackmail!! This review was very helpful.

Thank you for your review and for being very principled by keeping it posted as a warning to others. I had these in my cart, and you saved me from a big disappointment and having to deal with bad customer service.
