Long term review- poor results,
This review is from: Dell 1355cnw Wireless Color Printer with Scanner, Copier and Fax (Office Product)
Update after using for 1.8 years....
Went through my Windows 7 machine and update drivers and reinstalled all software
Machine works alright with occasional crashes or bugs
I am using the Cannon PIXMA with greater productivity and lower cost
Still can't get wireless features to be reliable
lowering my star rating due to all the down time and expense of cartridges
Update after using for 1.5 years.....
Same Pros and Cons.
I am using this printer less and less because it requires so much interaction on the LCD keyboard to accomplish tasks that
are repeatable. I am wishing for a RECORD/MACRO button here.
Am using a $85.00 Cannon printer instead with less time involved and satisfying results.
I have had this machine for 8 months now as a business printer for my home office. It is used weekly but overall I am not pleased with my purchase.
Good color quality prints when the time is taken to review wettings and hone the correct parameters for printing.
Crisp B&W prints and copies
Prints on differnt stcoks quite well
About 3 days and some professional IT support to get the wireless connectivity working
Of course, my MACBOOK found it under a minute and I could print right away?!
When Black toner went out it was a "two page" warning. So two pages later out of another 30 and I couldn't finish my proposal.
I replace the Black cartidge to the tune of $69.00!! and the color went out within two days!!
I am in a major metropolitan area and nobody carries these cartridges.
Keep spares on hand if you have important deadlines and print in color often- who doesn't
If you are out of color the manual says it will print in B&W- no such luck after spending an hour on this.

I don't agree with the low rating of this review by the original poster.
Its completely self-serving, 100% user error you are biasing your review on.
Write it properly - is the print quality good? How long does the toner cartridge last? Is it a sturdy unit?
DON'T give it a low review because you couldn't set up the network, or because you ran out of toner cartridges and couldnt find any locally.

I think the ease of setting up the network is relevant. As well as how long the toner cartridges last.
Generally, I don't think the review is completely self-serving.
