Limited to only ONE claim?,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I take some of the responsibility for purchasing "so so" product. I guess I should have read the Plan Features a little better?? I didn't catch it till AFTER I bought it.
Yes, your device is covered for 2 years for "Accidental Damage",,,but it's limited to only ONE claim during that two year period. I know they have to put some limits to the claims because people will abuse it. But like most extended protection plans, they limit one claim per year, in this case that would be a total of two.
I rate this 3 stars because of this extreme limited accident plan feature.
Quote from the plans information:
Coverage Against Accidents
Accidental Damage covers any accident which happens during normal use of the product. While most service plans cover basic mechanical malfunction only, this plan covers your Kindle for accidental mishaps such as drops, liquid spills, cracked screens and other human errors for up to 2 years, ********limited to one claim**********..."

The average person who takes care of their electronic devices isn't going to need more than the one allotted claim for damages. Only a Schleprock would need more. You have to be proactive in caring for your investment, purchase a protective cover for your Kindle.
