1.0 out of 5 stars Ruined Pictures, September 6, 2012
By
This review is from: Olympus TG-320 14 MP Tough Series Camera with 3.6x Optical Zoom (Blue) (Old Model) (Electronics)
My parents gave my sister and I each a camera for Christmas this past year. The camera works great, and I have had no problems with water. I have taken mine on many wet hikes, and my sister has taken pictures while swimming in a pool. However, both cameras ruin the pictures taken on them. Lines and discolorations mar the pictures, or black areas will cover half the picture. At first, I thought it was just my camera, and I assumed it was my own fault; I have always been rough on electronics: leaving it in the car on a hot summer day, leaving it in a wet backpack, dropping it, etc. My sister is the opposite. She has taken very good care of her camera, and I was shocked when she told she had the same product. I would have rather put a whole summer's worth of photos on my camera phone.

are you sure the black shadows aren't from maybe a partial finger going in front of the lense as your taking the picture (This has happend to me with these tiny cameras). also lines may appear if shooting directly into sunlight.....hopefully it's those issues & not the cameras. Good Luck
