Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dell Inspiron i660s-2308BK Desktop (2.7GHz Intel Pentium G630 Processor, 4GB DDR3, 500GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium) Black (Personal Computers)
The price is very affordable. I have heard good things about dell so I decided to buy this one. Only thing that scares me is ONCE IN A WHILE at start up the fan gets loud and stays that way for a while. Only once in a while. I hope it dont get worse with time.

A louder fan operation upon startup is normal. At startup, the fan is tested for a while in its "high mode." This is to ensure that when, or if, later during operation the computer's internal temperature rises too much that the fan will kick into high gear to maintain cooling.

Hi DellTeam!

With this machine's dual HDMI outputs, I am interested in picking one of these up as a Home Theater PC (HTPC).

A big concern about a HTPC is the size.

The Description for this state the Dimensions are 23.90x16.61x15.83 inches (LxWxH), but this does not match up with the pictures shown. Are the dimensions written down wrong or are the pictures incorrect?
