I was excited to get the books; but I was expecting a more detailed instructions for building these items. I would not rate this book very high.

LEGO is about creating, not about copying. This book (and others like it) are designed to inspire the reader. The odds of your child having the exact pieces to build a specific model are slim, therefore detailed instructions would only serve to frustrate. Whereas the beautiful, hi-res pictures serve to drive the child or adult reader to try something similar.

No where in the product description does it say this is a book of instructions. It's primarily an inspiration book. You should have done your research before buying.

I expected something a little more detailed. And I know how to read descriptions. It is not clear as to what to expect.
