This review is from: Dr. Larry Silver's Advice to Parents on ADHD: Second Edition (Paperback)
I bought Dr. Silver's book on the recommendation of my daughter's pediatrician. I found it to be quite detailed and well-researched, but it was excruciatingly dry and clinical. I am usually a voracious reader, but I had trouble getting through this book. It's an important reference book if you are doing detailed research, but it's probably not the first book you should tackle after you learn your child has ADD. In my opinion, a better "first book" would be "Driven to Distraction" by Edward Hallowell et al.
