This review is from: All Hallows' Moon: A Young Adult Paranormal Novel (Seasons of the Moon Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
All Hallows Moon the second book of the Seasons of the Moon series, doesn't miss a beat! From page one I was hooked. Six Moon Summer was my favorite read of Summer 2011 and AHM is on par without question. Sara Reine's continuation with Rylie's struggle is fast paced, well plotted and delivers an equally entertaining book as her first. Camp is over and now Rylie has gone to live with her aunt on a remote farm, far from the bustling city where human contact is unavoidable. However living on a farm present many of their own problems, as in order for Rylie to assist her aunt with the farm animals, they sense the danger of the wolf that lives under Rylie's fair skin. Also with the return of Seth in her life, comes the danger of his werewolf hunting family, and a fanatical mother who has one thing on her mind and that is to kill Rylie, even if it means while she's still in human form.
I really enjoyed this book a lot. It took me several months to read, only because of real life. But every chance I had a few moments, I would grab my kindle and read a couple of chapters. I really enjoyed the opening sequence with the truck driver and could easily envision that in a movie. Reine is truly a gifted author and I am fan for sure, how she writes so quickly while being a full time mom, humbles me greatly!
I know I for one am eager to continue reading the next book in this series!
