it just looks nice,
This review is from: Invicta Men's 1514 I "Force Collection" Stainless Steel Cloth Strap Watch (Watch)The watch is just like in the photo, it's nice.
The issue is that it hasn't worked for me from the start.
The watch stopped from day 1. I thought it was the battery, so I changed it.
After 1 minute, the watch stopped again. What was strange was that it only stopped when worn.
Fortunately, I found (by pure luck) that if the backhood is not closed tight, the watch won't stop anymore.
Although I managed to make the watch run again I don't think it's normal to keep the backhood untight to keep the watch functioning.
Also, I have sent an email to Invicta asking for some guidance of approved repair service in my area, and they have not replied. Unprofessional.
I will probably never buy an Invicta product again.
I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 as the watch is nice and it works (currently. Who knows how long?)

thinking atheist says:
I have had the same issue with another similar Invicta Watch- the only difference is mine had a golden frame and a blue face. The watch did not work from day-1! I would have to slap the frame to get it to run, but then it would stop again in about 1-3 minutes. I knew it wasn't the battery because the smaller dials, the seconds, 1/10second etc.run fine when I activate them. The stop-watch, sort-of, function runs perfectly for as long as I want it to, but the watch itself does not work. What a waste! And Invicta wants me to spend 28 bucks for a within-warranty repair! How is that a warranty?? Amazon hasn't responded to my two emails regarding this either. I am probably never buying watches from Amazon again. I was actually thinking of ordering a Breitling or a Cartier when I ordered the Invicta- backed out because I wasn't sure about spending 3K on a watch online. And was that a GOOD DECISION!!!!! I am glad I didn't get stuck with a $ 3K+ watch that does not tell time.
