Typical for Amazon, the book arrived within a couple of days. The recipes look awesome. Surprisingly the book was autographed by the author and appears to be a first edition. At first I thought it was just a printed autograph, but running my finger over the writing and looking at the other side of the page, it was actually written with a ball point pen.
Pros: Very easy to follow instructions using common ingredients. Each recipe lists carbs, net carbs and calories per serving as well as giving the serving size. One of the other low carb books I purchased at the same time doesn't actually list the serving size. You have to figure it from the number of servings it makes vs the quantity it makes.
Cons: Only one so far. I need to watch my fats and cholesterol as well as carbs and the recipes don't mention them. To be fair, this is a low carb cookbook, not a lot fat cookbook but the information would be helpful.
Summary: If you like food that bites back a little, if you can cook, if you like Cajun cooking and you want to watch or cut your carb intake, this book is for you.
