Borrowed Heavily From Other Books,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bloody Hollywood (Paperback)
I'll just keep it short. The photos are not the best quality and many were already seen in the trashy old Hollywood Babylon books. The author takes a lot of info from those books and just changes a few sentences to avoid a plagiarism rap. The Arbuckle stories in particular, right down to Kenneth Anger's addition of "weird moans," which the author here writes word for word.
There were some stories I wasn't aware of, I didn't know George Raft had some serious crime connections, but I never was big into Raft.
I have to say it is better than the Babylon books. They were just sleazy and that author flat out invented things.
The book saves a kinky guy for last: Bob Crane.
