Good monitor stand for the price.,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Free Standing Horizontal Dual/Two LCD Monitor Stand Holds Most Monitors Up to 24" Widescreens New (Personal Computers)
The stand went together very quickly, and it serves the purpose well. The one comment I would endorse that others have is the monitor mounts are fixed (they cannot move closer to or farther away from the center post along the support arms.) So if you have small monitors, and want to place them next to each other, you will be forced to swing the monitor arms forward, which will move the center of gravity for the setup toward the front. (This would also be true if you set the monitors up in portrait mode.) If the monitors are small enough, the whole setup may have a tendency to tip forward. I have a 22" and a 23" monitor on mine, and the two are pivoted slightly forward (about a 160 degree angle) to let the two touch. Very stable.
The stand also comes with a screw-type through-the-desk mount and large washer to allow mounting without the base. I didn't need this, so I didn't have a chance to test it.
Putting the monitors on the stand one-at-a-time was a trick, too. The base will not stand with only one monitor attached (no surprise there), so you'll have to put a box or something under the first monitor to hold it up while you screw the second monitor into place.

Hi, I just purchased this, and set it up, using the provided stand (which I think is what you did). I'm wondering if maybe i didn't do something right, but does that bolt also just stick out from under the stand, tilting the back of it forward a little?
