1.0 out of 5 stars Rants of a politically motivated person, November 17, 2010
This review is from: Rationality and Freedom (Paperback)
Amartya Sen rarely writes books relating to his own subject. He rarely writes books corresponding to their titles. He never writes books which do not have a heavy political purpose.

This is such another book of his - shamelessly leftist, parading naked propaganda.

Every book of Sen is heavily politically motivated but this is more so.

It is ignorant bile. Stay away from it.

S. Morgan says:
This comment has nothing to do with the reviewed book, which is a critique, for professional economists and social scientists, of social choice/game theoretic approaches to rationality.

You are entitled to your opinion, but this review is of something like Development as Freedom, or one of Sen's more "popular" books, not of a serious collection of essays regarding formal modelling, which was never intended for a layman audience.
