4.0 out of 5 stars No toast setting., January 29, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hamilton Beach Countertop Oven with Convection and Rotisserie (Kitchen)
This works good as a secondary oven to bake or convect. I haven't tried the rotisserie yet but think it will work fine. Just beware that there is not a toast or bagel setting. It only has bake, convect, broil, and rotisserie. I've learned to set the temp on 450 and bake for about 8-10 minutes to have toast come out good. Just keep an eye on it or it will burn. It won't brown like a regular toaster.

What's the inside walls made of please? What do they look like they could be made of, if uncertain?

It looks like metal that is painted with black lacquer. The back wall is just plain metal. Hope this is helpful.

Have you tried the broil setting to toast it? It should toast quickly, but only on one side then you would turn the bread over. Works great with bagels though.

Does Hamilton Beach say anywhere that this is a toaster oven? Maybe you should have bought a toaster oven. If you want milk then don't buy a bull.
